If you wanted to be entertained on a boring Friday night (yes, yes, I know, Friday nights are rarely boring, but it does happen), Horizon was definitely the place to go. There were SO many things to do in and around the resort that it’s not even funny. I am not exaggerating when I say that you could stay there for a month, filling up every day completely with various things to do, and you still would have stuff left that you haven’t tried! You think I’m pulling your leg? Just give me a few minutes and I’m sure you’ll agree with me!

dance dance revolutionInside of the hotel there was an arcade filled to the bursting point with various games – shooters, racers, even retro games! My personal favorite was the “Dance Dance Revolution” machine, which… If you’ve ever played “Dance Dance Revolution” I don’t need to tell you why. Fun stuff always happens around that machine, especially when played by older guests who usually aren’t into videogames very much. Once you were done with that, you could go to the positively giant 8 plex movie theater that was regularly showing movies for the guests of the resort. Because nothing says “awesome” like having a huge movie theater right at home! And once you got tired of Hollywood entertainment, you could always cool down at the outdoors pool. Hey, it beats swimming in the lake!

CabaretBut what about events and that kind of stuff? Horizon never left its guests hanging! There were various fun events that were organized almost every single day of the week. For example, every Friday you could enjoy a traditional cabaret, alongside a wine tasting event organized specifically for the guests of the resort. But the most special event starred Award-winning illusionist Alex Ramon in a magic show unlike any other, featuring mind-blowing magic that made you question reality and your own eyes!
